Types of Volunteer Opportunities
There are many different volunteer paths at Communities In Schools. If you can spare an hour a week, you can become a Reading Buddy to an elementary school student. Have more time to give? Mentor a child in our Community of Friends program. You can find out more about these volunteer opportunities on our programs page. Not all of our volunteers work directly with children. We also need volunteers to assist with fundraisers and general office work. If you have time to get involved, Communities In Schools in Alexander County has a place for you!
